The NY Hot Jazz Youth Camp welcomes students on all instruments ages 10-15 to explore the building blocks of jazz in three spring break sessions: 

 

April 10th: Intro to Improvising 

Learn how jazz music began in New Orleans, how to invent your own melodies and rhythms and share them with others

 

April 12th: Build A Band 

Find out how your instrument fits into a jazz band of any size and how to be part of a musical team

 

April 14th: Jazz Jam

Come together with your camp compatriots to learn multiple new songs and spontaneously create new ideas 

Each session is 1:00-4:00 pm daily at the Greenwich House Music School: 46 Barrow St, NY NY
